Role Snapshot

  • Eligibility: Fluent in Vietnamese and English; available for frequent travel within Asia

Role Purpose & Success Outcomes

To lead the design establishment and operational readiness of a new aviation training and development platform that meets international benchmarks and ensures sustainable workforce capability for the aviation sector.

Success looks like:

  • Launched comprehensive training programs for airport operations that meet IATA/ICAO standards.

  • Active partnerships with leading global aviation institutions have been formalized and are delivering measurable results.

  • The Aviation Academy is fully established accredited and ready for operations.

  • Develop sustainable workforce pipelines that align with long-term aviation growth and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design implement and continuously improve training programs for airport personnel across operational divisions.

  • Benchmark all curricula against global best practices (IATA ICAO Changi Incheon Dubai).

  • Lead partner engagement and agreements with international aviation training and academic institutions.

  • Co-develop workforce and recruitment strategies to ensure a strong connection between training results and operational needs.

  • Manage the creation and operational setup of a dedicated Aviation Academy including program portfolio governance and accreditation.

  • Manage cross-functional project timelines resources and reporting to senior leadership.

  • Identify risks recommend mitigations and ensure timely achievement of all project milestones.

  • Drive strategic communications presentations and stakeholder updates for internal and external partners.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Aviation Management Business Human Resources or related fields (Masters preferred).

  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in aviation operations training or management.

  • Proven track record in developing or managing large-scale aviation or airport training programs.

  • Deep understanding of workforce development competency frameworks and regulatory standards (IATA ICAO).

  • Demonstrated success in leading multi-stakeholder cross-functional projects.

  • Strong experience managing institutional or international partnerships.

  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills across government corporate and international contexts.

  • High adaptability initiative and resilience in dynamic project environments.
