More about the role

As an Inventory Specialist at GoLemon you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day stock receiving issuing tracking and reconciliation across all storage locations. This role requires keen attention to detail strong analytical skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with teams to ensure data integrity stock accuracy and smooth operational flow.

You will also play a key role in participating in inventory processes ensuring compliance with internal controls and industry standards. Your work will enable real-time visibility into inventory performance empowering teams across GoLemon to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Operations

You will:

• Receive verify and record incoming stock against purchase orders and delivery notes
  
• Oversee issuance of stock to processing and fulfillment teams ensuring proper documentation.
  
• Maintain accurate stock counts and ensure proper shelf/store arrangement.
  
• Reconcile physical stock with system records on a daily and periodic basis.
  
• Identify and investigate stock variances shortages or damages.
  

Quality and Safety

You will:

• Inspect stock condition (packaging expiry dates quality) at the point of receipt and during storage.
  
• Ensure compliance with food safety storage and handling guidelines.
  
• Flag misfits near-expiry or damaged goods to the relevant teams for resolution.
  

Reporting and Analysis

You will:

• Prepare daily weekly and monthly stock reports highlighting variances and movement trends.
  
• Support teams and the management with data-driven insights for procurement and replenishment planning.
  

Cross-Team Collaboration

You will:

• Work closely with teams to ensure smooth stock flow.
  
• Communicate promptly on shortages surpluses or urgent stock needs.
  

Reporting and Communication

You will:

• Prepare daily reports summarizing shift performance challenges and key metrics.
  
• Collaborate with the Processing Lead to align on goals and address operational needs.
  

Requirements

Your experience & what it takes to succeed at this role

1. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
   
2. Proven experience in inventory management warehouse operations or supply chain.
   
3. Strong knowledge of inventory control systems reconciliation and reporting.
