Marketing Specialist
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Specialist to join a dynamic and growing team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in commercial lines marketing to contribute to a collaborative and thriving team environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-volume service and placement as well as expertise in working with both wholesale/broker markets and standard market carriers.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $90000 (depending on experience)
- Competitive benefits package 401(k) paid time off professional development opportunities etc.
Responsibilities
- Market new business accounts and a select number of large renewals within the commercial lines sector
- Handle high-volume service and placement workloads efficiently
- Collaborate with brokers and standard market carriers to negotiate and secure optimal terms
- Utilize Applied EPIC software to manage marketing activities and maintain accurate records
- Work closely with the Director of Commercial Service and Marketing and a team of eight professionals to achieve departmental goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale and broker markets
- Ensure timely and accurate placement of accounts meeting client needs and expectations
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines marketing
- Proficiency in Applied EPIC software is required
- Demonstrated experience in high-volume service and placement workloads
- Strong knowledge of wholesale/broker markets and standard market carrier marketing/negotiation
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license; a CIC designation is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
