Summary Of Position
Serve as the primary counselor/advisor connector and champion for all students at Paul conjunction with the Director of Career Services for the Paul College of Business and Economics develop and execute special outreach programs to inform both faculty and students of the need for long-term career planning and career development. Plan and implement career development activities to guide students within the college from selection of an academic major through the job-search or application to graduate or professional schools.
Other Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in higher education student affairs career counseling human resources organizational development or related area or any combination of higher education and experience equivalent to 7 years. 3 years of relevant experience Proven ability to provide career and professional development through advising/counseling/mentoring Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations Excellent written and presentation skills Ability to embrace and drive change and to organize and effectively manage multiple priorities programs and projects Demonstrate proficiency using career assessment instruments
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience supervising undergraduate and graduate student workers Experience providing graduate level advising and programming Corporate or business experience
