Job Description

Reporting to the VP of Paid Media you will create impact within our Paid Search Team in the Paid Media are seeking a highly experienced Paid Search Director to join our Singapore team on a 7-month fixed-term contract (Parental Leave Cover).

In this role youll lead Jellyfishs Paid Search strategy and activation across a portfolio of major local and regional/global clients supported by a talented team of Paid Search specialists across multiple APAC offices. Youll be responsible for driving channel excellence operational effectiveness and measurable business outcomes for your clients.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited for a strategic thinker and practitioner who can balance senior client engagement with technical mastery of performance media platforms. Youll play a pivotal role in coaching and mentoring junior team members ensuring their ongoing development while maintaining the highest standard of delivery across your accounts.

Were particularly interested in candidates with experience managing Paid Search programs for B2B and SaaS brands and who are comfortable collaborating with global teams across EMEA and North America.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the full Paid Search function for a set of 23 major clients across Singapore and APAC owning end-to-end strategy planning activation and performance management.

  • Develop best-in-class Search strategies leveraging Google Ads and Search Ads 360 (SA360) ensuring campaigns are structured optimised and automated to deliver maximum ROI.

  • Act as the senior channel lead and trusted advisor building strong client relationships and translating complex performance data into clear actionable business insights.

  • Manage mentor and develop a cross-market team of Paid Search specialists (from Executive to Senior Manager level) fostering a culture of curiosity accountability and continuous learning.

  • Collaborate with cross-channel teams (Paid Social Programmatic Analytics Strategy etc.) to design and execute integrated full-funnel media strategies.

  • Partner with global counterparts across EMEA and North America to ensure regional strategy alignment and knowledge sharing.

  • Champion innovation and automation driving adoption of advanced audience strategies scripts data integrations and platform features across Google Ads SA360 and other engines.

  • Ensure operational excellence through rigorous QA performance governance and workflow standardisation.

  • Represent Jellyfish leadership in client meetings quarterly reviews and internal forums articulating a vision for Paid Search that aligns with client growth and business transformation goals.

  • Stay at the forefront of Paid Search innovation continuously identifying new opportunities to evolve client strategies and internal best practices.

Qualifications

  • 710 years of experience managing Paid Search campaigns with at least 2 years in a leadership or Director-level capacity.

  • Deep hands-on expertise with Search Ads 360 (SA360) and Google Ads; additional experience in YAHOO!Japan or NAVER is a plus.

  • Proven success in developing and leading high-performing Paid Search strategies for large-scale multi-market or complex client portfolios.

  • Demonstrated experience working with B2B or SaaS clients with a strong grasp of long-lead conversion cycles and account-based marketing principles.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills confident in delivering strategic narratives and performance insights to C-level stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with experience managing and coaching multi-level teams across locations.

  • Highly organised detail-oriented and able to balance multiple workstreams and stakeholders under tight deadlines.

  • Experience collaborating with or reporting into global client or internal teams across multiple time zones.

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or related field preferred.
