Job Summary
Materials Planner Objective:
The Material Planner develops updates generates and executes the materials requirement plan for the network to ensure materials are available on time and in full to prevent supply delays
Years of experience: Mix of 0-3 years and 3-5 years
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Manage resupply planning to ensure inventory availability based on demand forecasts and sales orders.
- Execute purchase orders (POs) with approved resin suppliers ensuring alignment with lead times MOQs and contractual terms.
- Monitor inbound shipments and coordinate with 3PL partners internal warehouses and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Track supplier performance shipment delays and escalate issues to resolve supply disruptions.
- Collaborate with Sales Order Fulfilment and Logistics teams to address customer inquiries expedite shipments and resolve fulfilment issues.
- Support periodic S&OP processes with supply updates and material availability inputs.
- Generate reports and KPIs related to on-time delivery PO accuracy and inventory health SAP and Salesforce knowledge will be an added advantage
