Job Summary

In this Full-Time / Part-Time role based in Richmond you will be responsible for providing the highest service levels of financial support and business direction to both clinical and non-clinical portfolios. You will be part of the Richmond Finance Team and report directly to the Finance Director.

You will make an impact by:

  • Partnering with Department Managers and providing comprehensive efficient and timely business and financial support
  • Maintaining a high level of financial stewardship and ensuring financial hygiene
  • Ensuring robust financial management accurate budgeting forecasting and high-quality financial reports are delivered and maintained
  • Proactively identifying and executing cost or operational efficiencies to ensure continued success and growth of the hospital

To be successful in this role:

You will proactively approach tasks and responsibilities confidently communicate clearly and competently work under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be self-directed with a team focus and committed to self-development and learning.  You will take initiative and use your collaboration skills to contribute to your portfolio.

You will have:

  • A Bachelor Degree or higher in Business/Accounting/Commerce
  • CPA Australia or CAANZ Membership
  • Previous experience and strong working knowledge of the Health industry
  • Advanced financial modelling and data mining skills including advance skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of budget preparation and management
  • Development analysis and presentation of business cases to improve Divisional profitability and support CAPEX submissions
  • Analysis of budget variances and strategies to implement remedial action
  • Benchmarking skills and knowledge of best practice
