Job Summary

Medical Laboratory Aide (Cytogenetics)

Purpose of the Role:

The post holder will perform routine laboratory duties to that will aid the department in the diagnostic work up of patient samples for genetic testing.

Essential Criteria:

School leaving certificate with evidence of further study or qualifications

Basic scientific knowledge

Meticulous attention to detail

Conscientious

Honest

Respectful

Good team worker

Computer literacy

Desirable Criteria:

Degree in a science subject Medical Laboratory Aide (Cytogenetics) November 2024

Clinical laboratory experience

Good communication skills

Previous experience in an ISO/accredited environment
