We are seeking aLaboratory Technician II on apermanent basisto join our team. The shift for this position isadmin flexi.

Job Purpose:

This position has the primary role is assisting with all duties relating to Microbiology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform or Review Environmental Monitoring at the plant (Microbial Particulate Water).
• Perform or Review product testing (Bioburden and Endotoxin).
• Perform or Review product validations.
• Collect compile and analyse data and prepare laboratory reports.
• Assist in any investigations into out of specification results.
• Involvement in ordering materials for laboratory.
• Maintain 5S standards in the Microbiology laboratory and office area.
• Support the business with regard to process improvements and quality improvements.
• Ensure compliance to BSC Cork Corporate and Regulatory requirements.
• Exposure to Bioburden and Endotoxin monitoring.
• Good team player organised accurate excellent documentation skills
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

Education & Experience:

• NFQ 6 higher certificate in Science Microbiology or related discipline.
• Ideally 6 -12 months work experience within a GMP environment.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Strong Team Player and excellent collaborator.
• Experience in investigation and problem solving.
