Position Summary
The UBMD Internal Medicine Division of General Internal Medicine is seeking applicants for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider ( APP ) for its community-based practice sites. The Advanced Practice Provider ( APP ) operates under the direction and supervision of one or more physicians providing healthcare services for adults. They are responsible for: The provision of comprehensive care to a panel of adult patients. Supporting the clinical practice of physicians at their site. Appropriately assessing patients and developing safe and cost-effective plans of care. Functioning as a key member of the clinical team in optimizing patient flow and maximizing the delivery of quality care to patients. Minimum Qualifications
Masters Degree in accredited NP/PA program Current NYS license DEA and Board Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum two years experience with healthcare delivery in an ambulatory setting. We are willing to consider newer graduates. Excellent communication and attention-to-detail skills required. Experience with electronic health records.
