About the Opportunity:
We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a global leader in healthcare technology for a Field Service Engineer who will play a pivotal role in supporting advanced medical and automation systems throughout Ireland.
This position combines technical mastery with purpose-driven service offering an opportunity to directly impact patient care through the reliability and precision of life-enhancing medical technologies.
The successful candidate will deliver on-site installation repair and maintenance of sophisticated medical systems across hospitals and healthcare facilities ensuring safety compliance and continuous operational excellence.
What Youll Do:

Provide on-site and remote service for medical and automation systems.

Perform preventive maintenance calibration troubleshooting and repairs to ensure uptime and performance.

Train healthcare engineering staff and end-users on proper system operation and safety procedures.
-
Manage car stock inventory service documentation and KPI compliance.
-
Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to resolve escalations and maintain client satisfaction.

Maintain full compliance with medical device and quality regulations (GMP ISO MDR).
What Youll Bring:
-
ONC/HNC (Level 5) or higher in Electronic Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

3 years of experience in field service within medical devices automation or technical support environments.

Strong understanding of networking Windows OS and hardware configuration.

Proven ability to build rapport with healthcare professionals and maintain customer trust.

Excellent communication organization and problem-solving skills.

Valid EU driving license and willingness to travel across Ireland and the U.K. (overnight stays required).
