Job Summary
CK Group are recruiting for a Design Engineer to join a multinational multi-industry company on a contract basis until the end of August 2026.
Salary: From 450 - 570 per day (Inside IR35).
In this contract you will be leading and delivering design for protection and control systems and associated auxiliary systems at Transmission and Distribution levels.

The Location:
The role is hybrid primarily home-based with occasional meetings at the Birmingham office.

Your Background:
- HNC/HND in related engineering field.
- Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution practices (400kV to 11 kV).
- Understanding and knowledge of Distribution Network Operator National Grid etc. standards and drawing practices.
- Previous experience as a CDAE and experience with major contractors such as National Grid SSE Siemens or GE is preferable.
