Salary Range: $150000 $175000
This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced professional to join our clients management team in Haddonfield NJ as the Director Construction Services. This role involves managing the entire construction services division overseeing NICET-certified staff and providing critical support for major public infrastructure projects across the region.
This position is a high-visibility role with the potential for a partnership/shareholder track for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Division Management: Lead and manage all construction services activities and personnel within the department.
- Staff Oversight: Oversee and direct NICET-certified inspection and support staff on various project sites.
- Project Oversight: Provide comprehensive oversight for major public infrastructure projects ensuring they meet quality schedule and budget requirements.
- Agency Relationship Management: Leverage extensive experience working with key New Jersey state agencies (e.g. NJDOT NJTA SJTA) to secure and execute contracts.
- Business Development: Actively participate in business development activities to expand the firms construction management portfolio.
- Project Control: Implement and manage processes for Primavera scheduling cost control QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) and construction administration.
Required Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering is required.
- Licensure (Mandatory): Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license OR NICET Level IV certification.
- Experience: Demonstrated project oversight and management experience in large-scale construction or public works.
Core Expertise & Skills
- Agency Experience: Proven track record and existing relationships working with New Jersey public agencies (NJDOT NJTA SJTA etc.).
- Management: Strong business development leadership and staff mentorship capabilities.
- Software & Processes: Expertise in using construction management tools including Primavera and thorough knowledge of cost control QA/QC and construction administration practices.
