Who could you be at GHD

Our Materials Technology team combine scientific knowledge and practical engineering skills to our clients projects. Our engineers provide services including construction material durability and selection condition assessment and rehabilitation cathodic protection design monitoring and troubleshooting construction phase quality testing and certification across multiple industries including commercial and heritage property water and wastewater power oil and gas industrial marine roads tunnels and bridges.

This team of technical specialists are currently looking for Graduate Materials Engineerto join ourStructures Bridges & Materialsteam in eitherMelbourne or Traralgon. This role will commence with our Graduate cohort in mid 2026 (June/July intake).

Were looking for someone who:

• has recently graduated (or is a current student expecting to graduate by the end of 2025 or by mid-2026) with a degree in Materials Engineering/Science Civil Engineering or similar
• is interested in working in a consulting environment within the engineering sector
• has a high attention to detail as well as good time management and organisational skills
• has great verbal and written communication skills
• is great team player enthusiastic and willing to learn
