Role

Infra engineers design and build the platform that supports everything Anythings does - from swarms of AI agents building apps to keeping those apps up as they scale from 1 user to 100k.

Example projects youd own

• Scaling Anythings backbone to support X00k simultaneous agents builders and deployed apps (and growing)

• Optimizing retrieval and inference to make code gen feel instant even under massive concurrent load

• Architecting a 1 click system to deploy in an instant - and can autoscale any app from zero to millions of users

• Designing fault-tolerant infra with per-app isolation across data secrets and runtime

• Building AI native real-time observability so Anything agents can debug monitor and repair production apps on their own

Ideal candidates

• Strong backend/infra/systems engineer (typically 6 years of experience Typescript/Go/Rust/Python fluency preferred) If youd built & re-built something through multiple orders of magnitude of scale years is irrelevant.

• Strong experience with databases caches proxies secrets task queues observability microVMs containers and orchestration systems

• Production experience with AWS (or GCP Azure) and Terraform (or CDK/CDKTF/Pulumi)

• At least one of:

  • Major contributions at a company as it scaled from startup to established (esp in consumer AI multi tenant SaaS hosting platforms or dev tools/platforms)

  • Notable contributions to relevant open source

  • Dealt with meaningful production traffic and load

• Blend excellent engineering with strong product sense. Know architecture makes customer experiences.

• Know when to build your own system vs. use a managed service (and the tradeoffs between services)

• Confident designing systems from scratch vs. just maintaining them

• Equally fluent in application code & infrastructure as code and know when to use either.

• You have some war stories

• Prior experience as a founder or founding eng

• Hands on work with secrets management or security

• Strong experience with AI workloads and infra
