Job Summary
Cordia Resources is seeking an Accounting Manager for a Department of Defense (DoD) government contractor. We need an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee full-cycle general ledger accounting and ensure compliance with government contracting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Costpoint and a proven track record in the government contracting industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle general ledger accounting including month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with FAR DFARS and other government regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll functions as needed.
- Prepare and review financial statements reconciliations and audit schedules.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting forecasting and reporting.
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements including Costpoint optimization.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the government contracting industry.
- Strong Costpoint experience required; Costpoint implementation experience a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of FAR DFARS CAS and GAAP compliance.
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
