The French Section of Taipei European School is looking for qualified candidates for a History and Geography Teacher available August 1 2026. Candidates should have a High Level of French proficiency and with C1 level English proficiency.
Le candidat doit être de préférence titulaire de léducation nationale (avec la possibilité dobtenir au moins deux ans de détachement) ou bien davoir obtenu un master MEEF (Métiers de lEnseignement de lÉducation et de la Formation) en histoire-géographie. Un candidat ayant un PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) en histoire ou géographie peut également déposer sa candidature à condition dêtre un locuteur natif et davoir une expérience dans le système éducatif français.
Le service denseignement est réparti sur le collège et le lycée. Il est demandé une solide expérience dans lenseignement de cette discipline en cycle terminal et en particulier pour la spécialité Histoire-géographie géopolitique et sciences politiques. Une appétence pour lhistoire la géographie et la culture de notre pays hôte et plus généralement de lAsie orientale sera prise en considération. Soucieux de former des citoyens éclairés le candidat aura également pour ambition de renforcer la culture générale de nos élèves en les formant à lesprit critique grâce aux activités pédagogiques ou partenariats quil pourra mettre en oeuvre pendant ou hors temps scolaire.
Il/elle aura comme responsabilité dexercer sa mission dans le cadre des programmes définis par lÉducation Nationale et mis en œuvre dans notre projet détablissement. Bienveillant et exigeant envers lui-même le candidat devra lêtre aussi envers ses élèves tout en prenant en compte leur diversité et les besoins particuliers de certains dentre eux notamment dans la maîtrise de la langue française au sein dun enseignement plurilingue. Nous valorisons la pédagogie par projet (disciplinaire ou transdisciplinaire) ainsi que la différenciation inscrite au cœur des pratiques. Le candidat idéal maîtrisera lutilisation des technologies numériques en classe en particulier Google Education et MS Office. Il est attendu que le candidat est conscient de limportance du travail en équipe afin de faciliter la mise en cohérence et lharmonisation des pratiques de classe. Plus généralement la collaboration est considérée au sein de notre établissement comme un facteur essentiel dépanouissement professionnel et de réussite des élèves. Le/la candidat(e) aura aussi en charge laccompagnement et le suivi de plusieurs élèves en tant que professeur référent. A Master of Education Degree from a recognized University.
A Degree from a recognized University plus either a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) CAPES or equivalent
A Bachelor of Education Degree from a recognized University will be considered with relevant experience or/ holding a State Board of Education Certification (CAPES etc.). Outstanding teachers from others backgrounds will be considered if the applicant is willing to learn and work with TES system and ethos.
Qualifications such as TESOL DELTA TESOL DELF or other Language Teaching are a plus.
