Job Responsibilities:
Production planning and execution management:
-Carry out annual production plans according to AOP and regularly manage customer needs (Demand Plans) according to SIOP processes
-Receive and understand sample production plans drawings BOMs process documents and special requirements and establish simple manufacturing capabilities accordingly.
-Develop and execute detailed daily/weekly production schedules based on project priorities material availability and resource status. (Operation Plan)
-Reasonably assign work tasks to team members monitor production progress and ensure timely delivery of samples.
-Identify and resolve issues that impact production schedule (e.g. material shortages equipment failures process bottlenecks tooling and design etc.).
Quality Management and Assurance:
-Strictly implement sample assembly processes and quality standards to ensure that all assembly operations meet the specifications.
-Guide and supervise the operating specifications and quality awareness of team members and perform incoming material inspection process quality inspection and final inspection.
-Identify document and drive resolution of quality issues that arise during assembly.
-Ensure traceability of the sample assembly process (e.g. job records test data).
-Participate in sample review and problem feedback to drive continuous improvement in assembly processes and quality standards.
Cost Control and Efficiency Improvement:
-Establish cost awareness at the prototype stage monitor material usage and eliminate waste.
-Optimize assembly processes and operation methods improve teamwork efficiency and reduce unit labour costs.
-Identify and drive the reduction of unnecessary costs (e.g. tooling optimization accessory savings).
-Assist in analyzing the cost composition of prototype manufacturing. Pay attention to the proportion of procurement costs in the total cost.
Inventory & Slug Management:
-Responsible for the daily sending receiving storage and account management of sample materials (including components semi-finished products and finished products) in the team.
-Ensure the first-in-first-out principle of materials and maintain the material storage environment.
-Closely monitor the inventory status of sample materials identify and report sluggish materials in a timely manner.
Safety production and environmental management:
-Strictly implement the companys safety rules and operating procedures to ensure that team members abide by safe operating specifications.
-Identify potential workplace safety hazards take preventive measures and organize safety training and emergency drills.
-Supervise the safe use of equipment and daily spot inspection and maintenance.
-Maintain the 5S management of the work area (sorting rectification cleaning cleaning literacy) to ensure a safe tidy and efficient production environment.
-Report and handle safety incidents and near misses in a timely manner.
Team Management and Building:
-Responsible for the day-to-day management of team members including work arrangements performance tracking skills training and guidance.
-Create a team atmosphere of positivity collaboration efficiency and safety first.
-Conduct pre-job safety and skills training for new employees.
-Identify team members training needs and organize or coordinate relevant upskilling training.
-Communicate and give feedback effectively.
Cross-departmental collaboration:
-Maintain close cooperation with various departments of the Wuhan factory to ensure the full use of internal resources.
-Work closely with the Shanghai sample department to plan and purchase to ensure that materials are supplied on time and accurately.
-Communicate and cooperate with R&D process and quality departments to solve technology process and quality problems in the assembly process.
-Report to the superior manager on the production status key issues and suggestions for improvement.
Education and Experience:
-Bachelor degree or above major in mechanical manufacturing/mechanical electronics/electrical/automation related is preferred
-At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing assembly of which more than 1 year of experience in small team (more than 3 people) is preferred.
-Experience in assembling motors controllers or similar precision electromechanical products is preferred. (Automotive industry background preferred).
-Experience in sample parts new product introduction or small batch production management is preferred
Skill Requirements:
-Familiarize yourself with the basic structure working principle and assembly process of motor drive products.
-Understand basic mechanical drawings electrical schematics BOMs and basic process documentation.
-Basic quality management knowledge (e.g. self-inspection mutual inspection first article inspection process control concepts).
-Learn about basic site management tools such as lean manufacturing 5S visual management etc.

-Leadership: Ability to effectively guide and motivate team members and build team cohesion.
-Planning and Organization: Excellent planning task allocation and time management skills.
-Communication and Coordination: Excellent cross-departmental communication and coordination skills and conflict resolution skills.
