Description
Our client is looking for a freelance SDR who is the first human touchpoint in the customer journey starting the high-touch process of engaging with potential customers after a high-digital oriented journey (eg. Social media campaigns website visit(s)). Through expert communication client-wide product & solutions knowledge and KPI-driven outreach SDRs qualify leads initiate strategic conversations and position the client as the premium solution provider.
Main accountabilities
- Pipeline contribution
o Maximize lead conversion by lead qualification: Identify enrich engage and qualify inbound leads into high quality sales opportunities.
- Lead Assignment & follow up
o Actively follow up on leads assigned to internal and external stakeholders ensuring continuity engagement and conversion through coordinated communication and tracking.
o Actively follow up on our trial programs (try&buy) with end customers gain valuable feedback to: try and transition this towards a deal or (if negative) try and find out what we can do to improve
- Stakeholder management (internal & external)
o Internal: collaborate closely with peers to share best practices across the different regions field sales and marketing teams to align outreach efforts and campaign execution
o External: build relationships with (potential) end customers influencers and decision makers in complex buying environments. Build out long term relationships with our (channel) partners to maximize the return on our MQL distribution
- Product & Solutions expertise
o Acquire and apply deep knowledge of full product and solutions portfolio
- KPI Driven Performance management
o Operate within a performance-based framework accountable for key metrics such as:
First Response Time: > 90% within 48h
MQL to Opportunity Conversion rate: > 20% indicator of lead quality and qualification effectiveness.
Required competencies
Education
- Bachelors degree or equivalent through experience.
Experience
- 0-2 years in a sales marketing or customer-facing role in a technical B2B environment.
- Depending level: 2 years of proven inside sales experience
Competences
- Technical Affinity: Strong interest in and ability to understand and communicate complex technical products and solutions
- Digital & sales tools proficiency: familiar with CRM systems (eg. SalesForce)
- Ownership and autonomy: pro-active self-driven and capable of working independently within a structured KPI framework

- Languge skills: fluent in French Basic English and any other language is a plus
* Location: Office in Kortrijk (Belgium) - 12 working days in office is required per week. Candidate from Northern France or Ghent could be suitable.
* Main Purpose: Support the sales team in the French market by handling administrative tasks allowing the current team to focus on core responsibilities. No cold calling - focus on handling incoming requests.
