The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for expanding the organisation’s data centre portfolio across the region while managing a set of existing national and multinational key accounts. This role focuses on building strong relationships with customers design consultants contractors and end users. The successful candidate will develop strategic plans that improve customer operations and translate those improvements into business value. The role also requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders including technical teams R&D and marketing to support solution development and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Grow the data centre portfolio and maintain a set of major corporate accounts.
Develop strategic account plans lead business reviews and drive customer value initiatives.
Build senior-level customer relationships including C-suite engagement.
Identify growth opportunities and support solution development with internal technical R&D and marketing teams.
Manage contract renewals negotiate commercial terms and ensure compliance.
Develop new corporate account prospects manage pipelines and lead proposal and trial processes.
Requirements
Degree in Chemical Engineering Environmental Engineering or related technical field.
10–12 years of B2B sales or key account management experience in a multinational environment.
Experience with data centre or high-tech customers is strongly preferred.
Strong communication presentation and negotiation skills.
Ability to travel frequently.
