About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to oversee our combined HR Knowledge Management and Global Mobility functions. This strategic leadership role will manage two critical areas that support JLLs global workforce: maintaining comprehensive HR knowledge systems and facilitating seamless international talent mobility. You will lead a cross-functional team responsible for content governance employee self-service capabilities and end-to-end immigration support across our global operations.

About the Teams

HR Knowledge Management Team: Responsible for maintaining all content on our HR portal including policies procedures guides and related HR information. The team empowers employees managers and HR professionals through searchable knowledge portals (ServiceNow; Ask HR) enabling quick independent access to information while reducing time spent on routine questions.

Global Mobility Team: The ultimate cross-functional team working with key stakeholders across the organization to bring the best talent into different locations. We liaise with immigration tax and relocation vendors to ensure SLA compliance and consistent case handling in line with our policies guiding JLL employees as they navigate moving themselves and their families across borders efficiently and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and develop a combined team of HR Knowledge Management and Global Mobility specialists
  • Set strategic direction and priorities across both functional areas
  • Manage team performance coaching and professional development
  • Coordinate resources and workload distribution across dual functions

HR Knowledge Management Oversight

  • Content Governance: Oversee global Knowledge Management activities including reviewing creating and maintaining knowledge articles and homepage content in HR Direct
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure proactive governance of existing knowledge through feedback management monthly article reviews and zero search result analysis
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Lead collaboration with HR Centres of Excellence (COE) content owners globally providing strategic guidance on content improvement initiatives
  • Content Strategy: Serve as senior editorial advisor coaching stakeholders on content quality clarity cross-COE alignment and AI readiness
  • Continuous Improvement: Direct audits to identify gaps and improvement opportunities ensuring proper follow-through with content owners
  • System Transition Leadership: Oversee content migration between HR portals maintaining consistency across systems during transition periods
  • Analytics & Reporting: Generate knowledge reports and analyze data to drive strategic content decisions and demonstrate value

Global Mobility Leadership

  • Immigration Administration: Oversee the administration of global immigration matters for new hires and existing employees across all regions
  • Vendor Management: Lead partnerships with global mobility providers in the development implementation and execution of immigration policies
  • Cross-Regional Coordination: Direct collaboration with HR teams in EMEA APAC and AMER for employment-sponsored immigration applications
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure end-to-end immigration process compliance for global new hires visa renewals and leavers
  • Policy Development: Lead the development and implementation of global immigration policies and procedures
  • Strategic Communication: Serve as senior point of contact for complex immigration matters and stakeholder communications
  • Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across global mobility processes

Required Experience and Skills

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 yearsof progressive leadership experience managing teams in HR operations knowledge management or global mobility
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic initiatives across global organizations
  • 3 yearsof experience with HR processes and maintaining content on HR employee self-service portals for large multinational corporations OR 2 yearsof global immigration work experience ideally in-house or consultancy
  • Experience in ServiceNow/Workday Knowledge Management (preferred)
  • Knowledge of US immigration processes and matters (preferred)
  • Understanding of AI-friendly content principles and ability to guide content structuring for AI interpretation

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Teams)
  • Experience with SharePoint and shared drives for document and media management
  • Basic competency in Microsoft Visio and Adobe Acrobat
  • HRIS system experience for tracking and reporting
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and case management tools
