DescriptionBrief Job Description:
The Sales Operations & Support Analyst role will support the Vertiv Asia business to drive efficiency improvements. By coordinating and undertaking the preparation and consolidation of Operations & Procurement analysis forecasting and tracking reports managing the item master database. Analysis and interpretation of results and preparation of various reports to support the teams planning control and performance management processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Create reports & dashboards to monitor the status of Operations & Procurement KPIs
- Manage Item Master database for Asia Market Units in coordination with IT China to ensure timely and accurate part number generation (TC14 to Oracle Onida).
- Manage Item Master database for Vertiv Malaysia Plant (PD Cloud 2 to Oracle Onida).
- Support Finance Product Management Group Procurement Operations and Service teams in resolving Item set-up issues.
- Collaborate with Finance to establish annual standard cost for Vertiv Asia.
- Update & maintain safety stocks and ABC classification in Oracle.
- Translate data and analysis into simplified presentations effectively communicating findings to leaders of key trends insights and implications while aligning stakeholders on action plans
- Identify & implement new processes and improvement opportunities to maximize Operations and Procurement Teams productivity.
- Generate and maintain weekly monthly & quarterly management reports and dashboards.

Specialist Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel modelling and detailed analytics
- Deep proficiency in analytic tools and service systems.
- Proficiency in query languages a plus e.g. SQL
- Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle Power BI Robotic process Automation (RPA)
- Continuously improve and maintain business analytics skills
Practical Experience:
- Focus on customer and business needs
- Create solutions that effectively address problems
- Ability to combine long term and short-term goals by setting priorities
- Works to deadlines highly collaborative and adaptive
- Ability to understand commercial challenges derive insights from data & make recommendations
- Managing multiple stakeholders and priorities (multi-tasking)
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
Education/Qualification:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Engineering Business or related field
- Relevant experience in an analyst/computer programming role
Personal Attributes:
- Attention to detail disciplined self-motivated and proactive
- Highly analytical
- A natural curiosity to understand complex issues identify patterns and synthesise insights from analysis
- Continuously improve and maintain business analytics skills
- Ability to leverage communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships be persuasive and persistent at all levels of the organization and across various cultures.
