The ServiceNow Help Desk Analyst must be able to meet the key criteria below:

Location: Hybrid-Remote. The role will require travel as needed to NCUA locations located in Alexandria & Sterling VA; Phoenix & Tempe AZ and Austin TX. Minimal travel is anticipated and otherwise role is able to be performed remotely.

Years Experience: 5 years of professional experience in ServiceNow administration

Education: Bachelors degree in information technology or related field or equivalent professional experience

Security Clearance: IBR is a federal contractor. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance issued by the National Credit Union Administration. This agency handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.

NOTE: United States Citizenship is required as part of the eligibility criteria to be able to obtain this type of security clearance.

Work Schedules: IBR promotes work-life balance by offering flexible scheduling options. Standard business hours are aligned to the Eastern Time Zone.

Key Skills:

  • Experience planning executing monitoring controlling and closing all technical tasks related to administration configuration and implementation of all aspects of the ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with relevant ServiceNow scripting/programming languages including but not limited to Java Script.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification preferred

Position Overview

As a ServiceNow Help Desk Analyst at IBR you will play a key role in providing the central point of contact IT-related inquiries and support the ServiceNow administration configuration and implementation as a member of the National Credit Union Administration program.

Responsibilities

  • Planning executing monitoring controlling and closing all technical tasks related to administration configuration and implementation of all aspects of the ServiceNow platform necessary for Tier 1 Tier 2 and Tier 3 services.
  • Providing software coding and configuration services including but not limited to screen tailoring workflow administration report setup data imports integration scripting third-party software integrations and custom application development as needed.
  • Creating and maintaining service catalog items and workflows.
  • Designing and implementing automated workflows to streamline processes.
  • Integrating ServiceNow with other systems and tools.
  • Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards for various stakeholders.
  • Providing training and support to end-users and other administrators.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices.
  • Creating and maintaining system design and operations documentation.
  • Advising on the impact of any proposed changes to the ServiceNow environment.
  • Providing ServiceNow administration sustainment and subject matter expert support.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
  • 5 years of professional experience in ServiceNow administration.
  • Bachelors degree in information technology or related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Will require travel as needed to NCUA locations which may include the below for installing and maintaining physical equipment (i.g. network firewall server storage uninterruptable power supplies. Minimal travel is anticipated and majority of support will be remote.

  • Has demonstrated hands on experience with ServiceNow administration.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow into other systems and tools.
  • Experience designing and implementing automated workflows.
  • Familiarity with relevant ServiceNow scripting/programming languages including but not limited to Java Script.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Customer service oriented.

The expected salary range for this position is $65000 $85000 USD annually.
