Job Title: Accounting Manager
Salary/Pay Range: $75000 - $90000 DOE
Reports to: Kevin Johnson Controller
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
General Summary: We are seeking an accounting professional who enjoys working in a team and improving process. The Accounting Manager oversees accounts receivable accounts payable and billing this role youll mentor a small team collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely billing. This is a great opportunity to step into a role where youll make a direct impact on both our client experience and our companys financial health.
Essential Functions:
- Lead mentor and support team members within the Accounting and Billing departments.
- Facilitate workflows of internal and external questions and requests from Accounting and Billing departments.
- Process review and audit billing to compare worked performance to estimates.
- Process review and reconcile various reports as needed.
- Provide training and support for new hires and existing team members on departmental process and procedures.
- Facilitate client billings of products and services with external and internal business partners to ensure documentation is supported.
- Record journal entries as required.
- Preparation of sales tax liability workpapers and reconciling sales taxes in accounting system.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Must be flexible and able to handle high pressure projects and situations.
Minimum Experience Required:
- Associate or bachelors degree in accounting or business
- Four years of experience in accounting and/or billing
- Supervisory experience
Additional Details:
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time as well as stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 20 pounds.
