This role is part of the Construction Transportation & Industrial Business Unit at DLL. The candidate can be located anywhere in the United States.

The role of the Account Manageris to develop and ensure implementation of the sales and business relationship strategy compliant with CTIs strategic plan and program agreements to optimize program performance and achieve new business volume and income as set in the objectives. This individual will be responsible for managing a territory aimed at developing and growing partnerships and maximizing new business volume amongst strategic dealerships. The ideal candidate has experience in equipment finance as well as existing dealer and/or manufacturer relationships.

Day to Day

  • Responsible for the development growth and maintenance of dealerships within Construction & Transportation segments resulting in new business volume across wholesale and retail financing in line with GBU strategy and DLL policies.
  • Execute on dealer/partner/vendor program requirements and liaise with all relevant functions and stakeholders to enhance new business volume results within the framework of the signed program agreements.
  • Introduce new products and services to dealers/partners/vendors providing information and training related to the programmatic opportunities transactional activities and DLLs digital solutions.
  • Build maintain and influence a network of internal and external stakeholders/partners and represent department GBU and DLL to external stakeholders (dealers partners vendors) in line with business needs policies and external developments.
  • Define and execute a sales strategy utilizing CRM (Salesforce); develop CRM contacts and log relevant commercial events in accordance with activity expectations.
  • Provide monthly forecasting on transactions in pipeline.
  • Structure and negotiate complex transactions integrating legal and credit risk aspects.
  • Balance interests of dealer organization end-user vendor partner and DLL.
  • Involve all relevant expertise (Risk Operations Legal etc.) and bring together internal parties to structure deals.
  • Travel approximately 20%.

Essentials

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience (at least 5 years).
  • Knowledge and experience in the construction industry. Knowledge in the transportation industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in the finance and relevant lease markets including both retail and inventory finance.
  • Deep and/or broad sales and marketing knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with CRM systems and related activities; reporting and monitoring a plus.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail quality correctness and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to clearly communicate within a network organization and drive results.
  • Ability to travel to support the partner at key tradeshows as well as other relevant industry events.

Desired Primary Work Location: Des Moines IA / US Remote

Applicable Pay Range

$108443.20- $162664.80 (This role is eligible for sales commissions which increase the target earnings beyond the listed pay range)

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills years of relevant experience you possess and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLLs compensation plans and policies. Further the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees including healthcare benefits 401k matching vacation sick leave parental leave possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
