Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing a book of business with a focus on hospitality accounts including restaurants bars and nightclubs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance excellent client management skills and the ability to work independently.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $80000 - $100000 annually
- 401(k): 3% employer match
- Health Benefits: 100% coverage for Kaiser Silver plan or $300 monthly stipend
- Remote Work Equipment: Provided for remote employees
- Training: One week of in-office training
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business generating $350000 - $400000 in revenue primarily focused on small business hospitality accounts (food and beverage).
- Handle daily account management tasks including renewals billing endorsements and quoting new/renewal business.
- Provide exceptional client service by addressing inquiries explaining coverage options and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Lines Department Manager and a team of 15 professionals to ensure seamless operations.
- Utilize Epic software for account management and documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in commercial insurance account management with a focus on hospitality accounts preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software is mandatory.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong knowledge of insurance coverage and the ability to explain it effectively to clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A client-focused mindset with a professional demeanor.
- Work Environment:
- Hybrid work model preferred (San Francisco or Roseville) with remote options available for highly qualified candidates.
- Willingness to travel for one week of in-office training.
