Our client a leading provider of consumer profiling and data solutions is looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to join and strengthen their cyber security team. This is a fully in-office role based in Bryanston. You will be responsible for reviewing and implementing access requests assessing security questionnaires responding to and investigating security incidents and supporting IT and DevOps teams in maintaining compliance and security standards.

Senior Specialist Recruitment Consultant
- Review and implement access requests and manage firewall policies.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents.
- Support IT and DevOps teams in maintaining security compliance.
- Develop review and update security policies and procedures.
- Configure and maintain security tools including WAF firewalls and Zero Trust solutions.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Cyber Security Computer Science or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cyber security.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and compliance.
- Experience with firewall management and access control.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls SIEM tools and cloud security.
- Familiarity with scripting (Python PowerShell or Bash).
- Understanding of network protocols encryption and IAM.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. POPI).
- Familiarity with risk management practices and security controls.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
