As a Process Optimisation Specialist youll be supporting the delivery of streamlined scalable and compliant processes within the Risk Fraud & AML function covering process mapping and analysis process engineering system integration continuous improvement and governance activities. This will help us enhance operational efficiency strengthen fraud controls and improve customer experience to stay ahead of evolving risks and industry standards.

What youll be doing

As part of your role your responsibilities will include:

Process Mapping & Analysis

  • Audit and document existing Risk Fraud & AML processes across the customer lifecycle.

  • Use analytics to identify inefficiencies bottlenecks failure points and compliance risks.

  • Perform root cause analysis on SLA breaches and escalations.

  • Analyse customer journeys to reduce genuine friction without weakening controls against bad actors.

  • Identify inefficiencies in legacy processes by quantifying wasted manual effort and reducing false-positive escalations.

Process Engineering & Optimization

  • Design streamlined scalable and automated processes that remove unnecessary barriers for genuine customers.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and refine proposed solutions.

  • Replace outdated or rigid business rules with adaptive data-driven logic.

  • Ensure processes balance customer experience with robust risk controls

System Integration & Implementation

  • Translate optimised processes into functional requirements for ThreatMetrix and Hummingbird.

  • Partner with Product Tech and Vendor teams to support configuration and deployment.

  • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support go-live activities.

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor process performance using key data insights fraud metrics and SLA adherence.

  • Apply analytics to refine detection thresholds reduce false positives and improve fraud capture.

  • Recommend iterative improvements based on evolving fraud trends customer feedback and operational data.

  • Keep abreast of compliance/ regulatory changes and communicate to all stakeholders on the impact of

Governance & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate workshops training and communication sessions to secure adoption of new processes.

  • Act as a bridge between operational compliance and technical teams ensuring business needs are translated effectively.

  • Contribute to governance frameworks to ensure ownership version control and ongoing compliance of updated workflows.

  • Lead change management activities ensuring teams transition smoothly from legacy processes to optimised workflows.

  • Develop adoption plans success metrics and feedback loops to measure change effectiveness.

Essential skills youll bring to the table

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively

  • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams with a focus on achieving shared goals

  • Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a track record of delivering on time and within scope

  • Exceptional attention to detail ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations

  • Proven experience in process engineering business analysis or operations optimization ideally within Risk Fraud or Compliance functions.

  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g. Lucidchart Visio Miro).

  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and change management abilities.

  • Project Management experience with complex projects spanning across multiple teams

  • Degree in Process Administration or related field

  • Lean Six Sigma certification or similar process improvement training.

  • Experience in agile project environments.

  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g. AML KYC GDPR).

Desirable skills youve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets including odds calculation betting types and market trends

  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations

  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions ensuring adherence to legal standards

  • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies

  • Hands-on experience with ThreatMetrix Hummingbird or similar fraud detection and case management systems.

  • Strong understanding of risk and fraud operations in the iGaming fintech or regulated digital industries is beneficial.
