At Dragonfly Cares we provide compassionate ABA therapy and human-services programs that help children and families thrive. Were growing across multiple states and seeking a Human Resources Consultant with New York State expertise to guide our compliance benefits and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate employee benefits (health dental vision retirement).
Oversee workers compensation disability and unemployment claims.
Handle insurance renewals documentation and audits.
Complete all NYS-level regulatory filings (DOL Department of State etc.).
Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbooks.
Advise leadership on HR best practices compliance and employee relations.
Support annual training (e.g. harassment prevention documentation standards).
Liaise with vendors brokers and auditors on HR matters.

Qualifications

7 years of progressive HR experience in compliance benefits or insurance administration.
In-depth knowledge of New York State employment law (multi-state experience a plus).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
Experience with nonprofits or healthcare/human services is a plus.

What We Offer

$50-$55/hr based on experience.
Flexible part-time schedule: 5-10 hours per month.
