This is a remote position.
We are seeking an experienced SAP Security & Controls Consultant for a remote 6month contract supporting a role design and access governance initiative. This position requires occasional travel to Southern California and involves close collaboration with business process owners across multiple functional areas. The consultant will be responsible for requirements gathering SAP role and profile definition spreadsheetbased validation and controls support. The ideal candidate is a midlevel consultant who can operate independently and manage stakeholder engagement without daily supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct virtual and inperson requirements sessions with business stakeholders
Define SAP roles profiles and authorization concepts aligned to business processes
Develop and validate role design spreadsheets
Perform segregationofduties (SoD) analysis and support remediation
Document requirements decisions and design deliverables
Coordinate with IT audit and business teams
Support testing cycles related to SAP access roles and controls
Provide guidance on SAP security and controls best practices
Requirements
Qualifications
7 years experience in consulting role
35 years of handson SAP Security SAP GRC or SAP Controls experience
Strong background in SAP role design and authorization concepts
Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with enduser groups
Solid understanding of SoD principles and internal controls
Proficiency with Excel for mapping analysis and validation
Strong communication documentation and followthrough skills
Able to work West Coast business hours
Preferred Skills
SAP GRC Access Control (ARA ARM BRM EAM)
Audit compliance or IT controls experience
S/4HANA exposure
Prior consulting experience
