If you are looking for a role that combines your technical skills and passion for customers then we have a great opportunity for you. We are seeking a results-oriented customer-focused Building Automation Sales Intern to contribute to our continued legacy of innovation.
About this Role
This internship is designed to expose you to real-world sales processes business operations and cross-functional collaboration within a Carrier-owned company. Throughout this program youll rotate through various departments while supporting our sales efforts gaining a holistic view of how our business operates. This will be a very immersive experience that will challenge you to develop or sharpen your sales skills while leveraging your technical acumen.
Role Responsibilities:
- Rotate support through Automated Logic Contracting Services departments (Sales Operations Engineering Service)
- Work directly with our industry-leading Sales Professionals and customers.
- Understand the design application and sale of systems controls parts and services for commercial industrial and institutional buildings including HVAC equipment and building management controls.
- Be exposed to various facets of Carriers businesses: Service Equipment Building Automation Application Fulfillment and more.
- Attend sales meetings business functions sales and service calls and customer meetings alongside experienced account managers and mentors.
- Understand and participate in the steps sales engineers take from start to finish on a job.
- Appreciate the importance of customer relationships as you work with them as a daily point-of-contact creating a sense of ownership and importance in the solution-making process.
- Participate in a structured program that will challenge and develop your technical business sales leadership and communication skills.
- This internship gives insight into a sales engineering career with Carrier and the potential opportunity to join Automated Logic
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Sales or Engineering Operations or Business
- GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Possess and maintain valid and current Drivers License and be insurable by our companys insurance carrier
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and proactive
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
