Role Purpose

The Senior Customer Development Manager is a senior role within Clearbridges sales team and reports directly to the CEO. This role is responsible for driving new revenue expanding strategic customer relationships and providing senior-level influence across the sales function.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Lead complex consultative discovery conversations with senior decision-makers
  • Close managed services agreements and associated project work
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline with accurate forecasting
  • Act as the primary relationship owner for assigned customers
  • Identify upsell cross-sell and expansion opportunities
  • Mentor and support Customer Development Managers through deal strategy and best-practice sharing
  • Provide functional direction to sales support to ensure accurate proposals CRM data and follow-through
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure success both internally and externally (customers)


Qualifications

  • 6 years of B2B sales experience; ideally experience in Managed IT Services SaaS or technology consulting however experience selling into our verticles (transportation construction) is also transferrable.
  • Proven success closing complex consultative deals
  • Strong executive-level communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable influencing peers and working closely with leadership
  • Highly disciplined self-directed and results-focused
  • Valid drivers licence and passport with ability to travel within BC AB and Washington
