This is a rare chance to shape the future of farming in Aotearoa New Zealand. As Pāmus Head of Transformation youll lead the delivery of strategic change that directly improves the lives of our people lifts performance across our farms and strengthens the resilience of Pāmu for the future.

Youll have the scope to set the direction for how we adopt new technologies including AI and digital agriculture tools redesign our business processes and deliver strategic projects and improvements benefiting Pāmu and beyond. Youll work closely with leaders across the motu to bring practical meaningful change to life.

Pāmu Landcorp Farming Limited is a State-Owned Enterprise with over 110 farms across New Zealand. Our purpose is to lead the delivery of innovative and sustainable agriculture solutions for future generations.

ABOUT YOU

Youre someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy people and change. You bring a big-picture view a calm and collaborative leadership style and a genuine desire to make transformation meaningful - not just mechanical. Youre ready for a role where you can influence widely guide others through complexity and help shape how AI and digital tools and the right strategic projects and programmes can create real value across the business.

Youll bring several of the following (and we dont expect you to tick every box):

  • Strategic transformation delivery leadership ideally across large or complex organisations where youve shaped direction and enabled business-wide outcomes. Youre adept at project and programme delivery methodologies with a focus on outcomes and benefits.

  • Experience guiding people through ambiguity bringing clarity confidence and practical pathways forward. Ideally youve gained this experience through your own journey as a business analyst consultant programme manager or related role.

  • Strength in relationship-building partnering with senior leaders technical teams and operational staff in ways that build trust and momentum. You communicate easily with all stakeholders and employees whether a farm manager or CEO.

  • A future-focused growth mindset with curiosity about AI digital agriculture and new operating models - and how they translate into better performance and wellbeing on the ground.

  • Skill in coaching and empowering teams creating an environment where people feel supported informed and able to succeed.

  • Strong communication and change leadership ensuring new processes and systems are understood adopted and sustained. You have a knack for storytelling and creating compelling content to support and use the right data to support.

  • A collaborative inclusive style valuing diverse perspectives and ensuring all voices are part of shaping solutions.

This role is based at our Corporate Office in Wellington and will require regular travel to our farms and partner sites.
