We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced trainer to deliver a comprehensive 5-day Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) course in London UK. This role requires deep expertise in integrated business planning supply chain management and demand/supply balancing along with a proven ability to deliver engaging practical and high-impact training sessions for professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver a tailored 5-day S&OP training program covering all key components: demand management inventory management supply management and the integrated S&OP process.
- Develop and utilize advanced course materials including presentations case studies practical exercises and workshops that align with the course outline and learning objectives.
- Facilitate interactive sessions to help participants understand their organizations S&OP maturity level and cultivate the skills to create an integrated S&OP plan.
- Conduct practical exercises where participants can calculate demand forecasts manage inventory levels create balanced supply plans and develop risk management strategies.
- Guide participants through case study analyses to highlight key concepts potential pitfalls and the practical application of S&OP techniques in the workplace.
- Provide expert mentorship and guidance to trainees enhancing their knowledge and ability to align operational areas with financial and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with the client to ensure the training content is relevant and addresses the specific needs of the participants.
Requirements
Proven experience as a trainer or instructor in Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or Supply Chain Management.
Extensive professional background in supply chain operations or a related field with direct involvement in S&OP processes.
Strong understanding of demand forecasting techniques inventory management principles supply capacity planning and risk management within an S&OP context.
Excellent communication presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to make complex topics clear and engaging for senior and mid-level managers.
Ability to create an interactive learning environment using case studies practical exercises and adult learning methodologies.
Based in or able to commute to London for the duration of the 5-day training program.
Fluency in English is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g. APICS CPIM CSCP SCOR-P or equivalent).
- Multilingual skills are a plus though not required for this English-language course.
Required Skills:
Proven experience as a trainer/instructor in Health & Safety Management or related fields. Relevant certifications or qualifications in Health & Safety Risk Assessment or similar areas (e.g. NEBOSH IOSH OSHA certifications). Strong communication presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging and interactive training sessions. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in health and safety management. Willingness to travel to Milano for the duration of the training. Multilingual skills (Italian English or other languages) are a plus.
