Hiring Range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills qualifications experience education licenses training and internal equity.
Pay Range is the entire compensation range for the position.

The Program Director for the Superintendent of Schools oversees initiatives within the Pima County School Superintendents Office. One such initiative is Pima Community Share which connects PK-12 educators and students in schools and out-of-school programs throughout Pima County with local community partners to ensure that all young people have access to the resources they need to reach their full potential.
This classification is in the unclassified service and is exempt from the Pima County Merit System Rules
Essential Functions:
As defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act this classification may include any of the following tasks knowledge skills and other characteristics. Develops an outreach vision and actionable strategy that identifies and engages diverse community partner groups and sectors (parents businesses nonprofits associations government entities higher education etc.);
Identifies and recruits new community partners based on requests from educators;
Organizes in-person and virtual events that invite community partners to join Pima Community Share and attend other organizations community events to build new relationships with potential partners;
Presents information about Community Share to community partners and assists them as needed to create their online profile
Utilizes the Community Share platform to track usage educator requests for partnerships partner offers and follow up on requirements for partnering with an educator (e.g. screening and training);
Presents to school staff and administrators to increase participation and raise awareness of how community partners can be utilized;
Strategizes with coordinators at schools and other education organizations to engage educators parents and existing/new community partners;
Utilizes Community Shares online platform to engage with educators coordinate requests for partnerships and document engagements between partners educators and youth through photography and/or other media formats;
Creates communications content that highlights stories of impact and opportunities for engagement;
Shares regional progress updates and evaluation results with key stakeholders (educators community partners funders etc.);
As funding is available manage a small grants program to support projects co-created by educators and community partners;
As needed recruit and supervise volunteers and interns who can assist with community and educator engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration accounting finance or other closely related field as determined by the department head at the time of recruitment AND four years of professional level experience.
(Relevant experience or education from an accredited college or university may be substituted.)

Selection Procedure:
Pima County Human Resources Department reserves the right to admit to the selection process only those candidates that meet the minimum qualifications. All applications will be assessed based on an evaluation of the listed education and experience. Candidates meeting the minimum qualifications may be further evaluated/scored against any advertised Preferred Qualifications. The hiring authority will interview and select the successful candidate from a referral list provided by Human Resources. Additional assessments/testing may be required as part of the selection process.

Licenses and Certificates: Valid driver license is at time of application.ValidAZdriver license is at time of appointment. The successful applicant will be subject to a 39-month DOT Motor Vehicle Record review to determine applicants suitability to operate county vehicles in accordance with Pima County administrative procedures. Failure to obtain and maintain the required licenses and certifications shall be grounds for termination. Any offer of employment resulting from this recruitment is contingent upon Fleet Services review and approval of the candidates driving record.
