We use a hybrid model: Our engineers are based in India while our UX UI strategy and lead management are in the US. We are not an outsourcing agency; having both regular meetings and a local presence is important to us just as it is to our clients.

Role:

We are looking for a Freelancer - React Native Developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort and as such a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Responsibilities:

Build pixel-perfect UIs across both mobile platforms.
Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixesReact Native moves fast and often breaks things.
Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
High commitment to work and taking ownership of deliverables.

Qualification and Skills:

5 years of experience in React Native mobile application development.
Good knowledge of class based and function based components.
Good knowledge of ReactNative specific guidelines and best practices.
Firm grasp of the JavaScriptTypeScript language and its nuances including ES6 syntax.
Strong expertise with HTML CSS LESS SCSS and writing cross-platform compatible code.
Experience in building highly reusable and decoupled components.
Ability to write well-documented clean code.
Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
Familiarity with native build tools like XCode Gradle (Android Studio IntelliJ).
Experience in State management Libraries like Redux flux etc.
Understanding of REST APIs the document request model and offline storage.
Experience with automated testing suites like (Jest or Mocha)
Experience with push notifications animations and smooth transitions etc.
Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence for managing the application lifecycle.
