About the Role:

We areseekingan operationally focused AI Content Operations Manager to build and scale the content management infrastructure supporting our growing AI licensing business. This roleis responsible fordesigning repeatable processes managing cross-functional projects and operationalizing the full lifecycle of content preparationfrom intake through delivery to licensees.

You will serve as the operational backbone connecting high-quality academic and professional content with technology companies and corporate clients implementingLarge Language Model (LLM)and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications. This role balances strategic process design with customer enablement activities requiring both systems-thinking and hands-on execution.

Success in this role means building scalable operational frameworks that enable efficient content partner onboardingmaintainpipeline velocity and ensure consistent quality standards as our licensing business grows.

How you will make an impact:

  • Process Designand Operational Excellence:Design document and implement standardized workflows for content intake evaluation partner onboarding and preparation for licensing across both Wiley and partner content sources.

  • PipelineManagement:Manage the end-to-end content pipeline frominitialintake throughlicensee-ready delivery providing regular pipeline reporting capacity forecasting and status updates to leadership.

  • Partner Onboarding:Lead the partner content onboarding process post-signature coordinating across technical product and account management teams to ensure efficient content integration.

  • Customer Enablement:Work closely withproduct managementand business development teams to create customized content portfolios combining Wiley and partner content based on individual customer specifications.

  • Quality & Velocity:Establishquality control checkpoints service level agreements and content readiness criteriatomonitorpipeline velocityandreducecycle time.

  • Scalability:Develop scalable frameworks and operational playbooks that accommodate growing partner and content volume building repeatable solutions across the AI licensing business.

  • Publisher Collaboration:Collaborate with academic and research publishers to standardize metadata and content formatting whilemaintainingcomprehensive content management databases.

What we look for:

  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable operational processes from the ground up withprovenproject management experience in content operations academic publishing or information services.

  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in complexand ambiguousenvironments.

  • Detail-orientedprofessionalwith strong organizational capabilities and experience analyzing and categorizing large volumes of content efficiently.

  • Proficiencywith database management metadata standards and data quality practices combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with AI development or knowledge bases bringing technical understanding to content operations.

  • Strategic mindset that balances immediate operational needs with long-term scalability requirements.

We are committed to fair transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive compensation in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. The range below represents Wileys good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles either in the United Kingdom Canada or USA. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to geographic location skills and competencies.
