We have two open Student Assistant positions one in the Portfolio Management Team and on in the Impact Management Team. Please indicate in your application which position you are applying for. The working hours for both positions will be approximately 15-20 hours a week with flexibility in relation to your studies.
In the Portfolio Management team you will contribute to our collaboration with other departments of the Foundation in a project-centric way to support portfolio management processes. We are looking for a student that thrives with supporting the following tasks:
- Data processing and analytics
- Update of project database
- Ad hoc assistance with various projects
- Assist with slides
- Support with workshop preparation
Professional qualifications
- BSc student within the areas of medical or natural sciences engineering data science and business administration
- Hold interest in the scientific environment
- Super user in the MS Office package and particularly in Excel and Powerpoint
- Possesses strong verbal and written communicative abilities in English and Danish
- Skills within graphic design and data analytics is considered an advantage
Personal Qualifications
- Flexible and meets deadlines
- Thorough systematic and have a high attention to detail
- Strong team player who can both initiate and finish tasks independently
- Positive can-do attitude proactive and strong collaborative skills
The Impact Management team is involved in every step of the value chain of a grant from ideation to long-term outcomes and impact:
- We help our colleagues identify impact pathways to strengthen initiative design plan data collection monitoring and evaluation using various developed approach
- We deliver insights through evaluation and analysis to serve organisation needs and train the organisation in using intelligence tools
- We mine data to find impact stories to learn and identify the impact of our funding on people and the planet
We are looking for a student that thrives in changing tasks supporting the team lead with Communication support e.g. slide preparation Powerpoint or Miro supporting the team with ad hoc data preparation and analysis tasks data visualisation tasks and internally and for colleagues across the organisation and other ad hoc tasks
Professional Qualifications
- You have a flair and passion for communicating and data visualisation of data
- You have experience using Miro or similar tool
- You understand and are interested in working with impact-oriented theory of change
- Basic experience coding in SQL or Python is an advantage
Personal Qualifications
- Flexible highly self-motivated and can work independently but not afraid to ask for help/feedback
- Open-minded to learning through many different types of tasks and use of methodologies
- You have a collaborative mind-set
