We are currently seeking an experienced SolidWorks/NX Designer to join the Quality & Materials Department Design/Drafting Group. This is an exciting opportunity to support cutting-edge projects in Applied Physics & Superconducting Technology.
Key Role Details:
- Position: SolidWorks/NX Designer
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Designer
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks NX1980 and Teamcenter
Familiarity with ASME Y14.5-M-1994 or higher GD&T standards
Ability to work under limited supervision and deliver quality work on deadline-driven projects
Responsibilities:
Prepare mechanical designs and drawings including advanced 3D models and 2D drawings
Perform tolerance stack-up calculations and layout designs
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to research analyze and implement design solutions
