Location: Holmdel NJ
Contract Duration: 9 Weeks Contract (CWR)
Schedule: Monday Friday 11:00 AM 7:30 PM
Weekends: No weekends required
Pay Range: $50 $60/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Surgical Tech (CWR)for an exciting Travel or Local job in Holmdel NJ.

Essential Job Functions:

Follow surgical setup protocols and surgeon preference cards.
Maintain accurate counts of sponges needles and instruments.
Administer and label medications per facility policy.
Handle surgical specimens following O.R. protocols.
Ensure decontamination sterilization and sanitation of equipment.
Safely dispose of contaminated supplies and instruments.
Assist circulating nurses with patient care tasks and care planning.
Maintain an updated Surgical Tech skills checklist and specialty case experience.
Lift 50 lbs. push/pull up to 400 lbs. and stand throughout the shift.
Adapt care based on patient age culture and specific needs.
Communicate effectively with patients families and the care team.
Comply with facility policies procedures and professional standards.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience in an acute care setting Required
Strong background in Neurosurgery Required
Experience in at least two of the following specialties Required:
- Neurosurgery
- Orthopedics
- Robotic Surgery
- Endovascular Surgery
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program Required
CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) Required
BLS (AHA) Required
