Job Summary of the Maintenance Technician:
Were looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team! While working with the Maintenance team you will perform maintenance troubleshoot problems perform preventive maintenance and repair electrical mechanical and industrial equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace to produce quality products.
Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:
Were looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team! While working with the Maintenance team you will perform maintenance troubleshoot problems perform preventive maintenance and repair electrical mechanical and industrial equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace to produce quality products.
Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:
- Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on most electrical mechanical and industrial equipment.
- Troubleshot and analyze problems on equipment (i. e. control panels air compressors ovens bearings drives and air conditioning units etc.).
- Perform repairs on most electrical mechanical and industrial equipment from pneumatic impact guns to programmable controllers and microprocessors.
- Be able to weld cut and grind metal for mold and machine repairs
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation (ex. requisitions for equipment etc.) for the department.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements.
- Build and/or remodel equipment for the operation.
- 2 - 5 years Industrial Maintenance (preferred will allow schooling as experience):
- Associates Degree in Electrical Maintenance (preferred)
- Journeymans card - Electrical or Mechanical (preferred)
- Rotational molding experience (a plus)
- 3 - 5 Years Manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Fork Lift/Scissor Lift Experience (required)
- Weld background (know how to weld)
- Computer skills
- Hand tools like angle grinders drills calipers vertical mills lathe pneumatic tools and horizontal band saws.
