Job Summary
Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Overview
Were looking for a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic who enjoys fixing building and keeping facilities running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone with strong carpentry and general maintenance skills whos ready to grow on the mechanical side.
What Youll Do
- Handle general repairs including drywall flooring and ceiling tile work
- Complete basic carpentry painting and facility upkeep tasks
- Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs
- Maintain and replace lighting (bulbs and ballasts)
- Support preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
- Assist with HVAC cleaning and basic kitchen equipment upkeep
- Respond to service requests and facility needs
- Keep work areas safe clean and organized
- Document completed work and materials used
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
What Were Looking For
- Experience with carpentry drywall repair and floor tile work
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- Entry-level mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn
- At least 1 year of experience in general maintenance or building repair
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or on a team
- Good communication skills
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 feet
- Comfortable with bending kneeling climbing and physical work
- Ability to pass background drug/alcohol and driving record screenings
