The Business Unit Surface Sensor Solutions is part of Surveillance and has more than 2000 employees globally with a strong presence in Sweden Finland Germany and the UK.
Surface Sensor Solutions provides ground-based and naval radar and electronic surveillance solutions. The business unit has a strong presence in the global defense and security markets maintains close relationships with customers and engages in rewarding international collaborations.
Your role
We are looking for a manager for Program Management Office at PU Integrated Systems within the Business Unit Surface Sensor Solutions. At Program Management Office the focus is on execution of contracts in different sizes throughout the life cycle of the products from development contracts to service contracts.
The Business Area Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security surveillance and decision support and threat detection and protection. The portfolio includes airborne ground-based and naval radar electronic warfare combat systems and command and control solutions.
As a manager you will oversee a team of program managers responsible for executing won contracts and studies. This includes ensuring good profitability cash flow delivery precision quality and customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for developing our ways of working. The unit will consist of 5-10 employees with the potential to grow. You will be part of the PU Integrated Systems Management team.
Your profile
- You have leadership experience with a focus on business and customer understanding.
- You have a good financial understanding and experience in project management and/or product management.
- You are a driven individual with strong social skills and a willingness to build relationships both internally within Saab and externally.
- You have the ability to create a collaborative culture characterized by transparency frequent feedback respect and trust.
- You are a team player willing to go the extra mile for your team and its objectives.
- You have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
