Join our Incorporated Legal Practice to manage high-volume motor litigation matters and contribute to strategic legal advice. Youll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to maximise recovery opportunities and deliver commercial outcomes.
What Youll Do
- Provide litigation services and legal advice that protect the Groups interests and align with risk appetite
- Manage a portfolio of litigated motor claims driving resolution through negotiation mediation and court appearances
- Partner with Recoveries & Settlements Shannons and National Litigation teams to deliver strategic legal solutions
- Attend informal settlement conferences and mediations ensuring commercial outcomes
- Support team members and contribute to a high-performing collaborative legal team
- Identify opportunities to reduce external legal spend and improve operational efficiency
What Youll Bring
- Admission as a Solicitor or Barrister in any Australian Court with a current Practising Certificate
- Tertiary qualifications in Law (mandatory)
- Experience in litigation ideally within insurance or financial services
- Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for diverse audiences
- High ethical standards and integrity in all working relationships
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills both written and verbal
