Our esteemed Federal Govt. client is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud and Automation Engineer for a long term contract role!Further extensions are possible based on funding and approval.

Our Client requires a Cloud Automation Specialist for the delivery of a scalable and secure cloud automation to support resiliency goals and objectives for PROTECTED capabilities while also considering dependency and dependent systems and services. You will work to design cost effective secure and resilient cloud based PROTECTED solutions.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Identify opportunities for automation within software processes.
Run tests using tools and scripts for databases systems networks and applications.
Test automated techniques to ensure they perform effectively and complete the assigned tasks.
Design and execute QA tests using scripts and tools that automatically test functionality.
Identify bugs and quality issues during the software development life cycle.
Design and implement automated solutions for cloud-based infrastructure such as scripts.
Manage complex cloud environments including security measures for protecting data.

Essential Criteria:

Solid understanding of computer programming and software development.
Experience with one or more Automation tools.
Expertise in at least one major cloud platform AWS preferred.
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-code.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform complex system tests.
