Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Apply a systematic and mature approach to system planning and development ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget maintaining high standards of security and quality.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation and contribute to technology initiatives across the group.
• Work closely with stakeholdersincluding engineering management product business analysis quality assurance and technical operationsto deliver effective solutions.
• Develop strong relationships with clients and team members remaining client-focused and prioritising business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent implementation of design systems.
• Lead by example motivate team members and contribute to a positive high-performing team culture.
• Advocate for continuous improvement and upskilling within the team ensuring the safety of customer data and adherence to best practices.

Requirements:

• University degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Software Engineer.
• Proficient in front-end languages: JavaScript TypeScript HTML CSS.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks () component libraries and web components (desirable).
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Extensive experience with MS SQL Server database design and coding principles.
• Skilled in source control management and CI/CD environments.
• Experience with automated unit testing and strong documentation skills.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot GitHub Copilot) is an advantage.
• Experience technologies ( Framework 4 MVC C#.NET Telerik UI Vuetify HTML & CSS JavaScript/jQuery AJAX Git/GitFlow Azure DevOps WCF Web Services Web API SSRS SQL Server Bootstrap).
• Demonstrated commitment to UI/UX principles and Agile (SCRUM) methodologies.
• Excellent communication collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Organised process-driven and able to work autonomously.
• Strong initiative ethics and a commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
• Experience in financial software platform development is highly regarded.
• Enterprise experience Core code generation tools Signal R Hangfire Atlassian Confluence RedGate SQL tools PowerShell and cloud technologies (GCP or similar) is valued.
