This is a Hybrid role the Customer Operations team work from our Cardiff Offices 3 days per week. Youll be required to be office based more when running training sessions.
What Youll Be Doing
As the Senior Operational Excellence Trainer you will play a key role in supporting our Quality Assurance & Outcome Testing (First Line Assurance) teams professional growth and development. You will be responsible for designing implementing and evaluating various learning initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of our workforce. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about learning and are dedicated to creating an environment that fosters continuous improvement.
- Lead Onboarding & Integration: Design and manage best-in-class onboarding programs and resources to ensure the rapid and successful integration of new hires into their roles and company culture.
- Design & Deliver Training: Strategically develop and deliver diverse high-impact learning interventions (workshops e-learning) to address key skill gaps and drive continuous professional development.
- Evaluate Program Effectiveness: Establish and execute a robust evaluation framework (assessments surveys data analysis) to measure L&D impact and provide evidence-based recommendations for improvement.
- Manage Regulatory Competence (First Line Assurance): Develop implement and maintain a rigorous competency maintenance framework for First Line Assurance ensuring strict alignment with the centralized T&C scheme and regulatory standards.
- Support Performance Planning: Partner with leadership to formally scope document and manage both Personal Development Plans (PDPs) and formal Personal Improvement Plans (PIPs).
Were Looking For
- Demonstable experience in a Learning & Development (L&D) Training Coordination or comparable corporate education role.
- Demonstrated strong understanding and practical application of adult learning principles modern instructional design methodologies and effective training evaluation techniques
- Prior experience operating within a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulated environment including a solid grasp of relevant regulations laws and ethical standards.
- Proven ability to deliver training and drive performance within a fast-paced Operations environment.
- Experienced in providing formal coaching mentoring and performance support to individuals demonstrating the ability to develop capabilities in others.
