DescriptionThe post is based in Transport Scotlands Bus Concessionary and Active Travel (BCAT) Directorate.
The Operator Account Support has an important role in the Unit ensuring the accurate input of manual claim data from operators in relation to all schemes and grants we administer and monitoring the level of transactions for their operators escalating any issues.
They will also be responsible for the input of NSG claims to our payments system and following up with operators on any queries in relation to the claims. The role holder will work closely with Operators and team members on the collection and input of Fare tables provided by operators to the payment system ensuring their accuracy and recency.
Monitoring and managing all mailboxes for operator enquiries and receipt of manual claims as well as other ad-hoc duties will also be undertaken by the role holder.
They will report directly to the Operator Account Validator and their responsibilities include working within a payment processing environment and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders across a variety of tasks.

Our standard hours are 35 hours per week and we offer a range of flexible working options depending on the needs of the role. You are expected to be office based twice per week pro rata.

Security checks
Successful candidates must complete the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) before they can be appointed. BPSS is comprised of four main pre-employment checks Identity Right to work Employment History and a Criminal Record check (unspent convictions).
