Description
A busy heimishe health clinic in Brooklyn is looking for a Floor Manager to take charge of the front and back end of the department. We need someone responsible organized and comfortable running the floor keeping things moving smoothly and making sure patients are taken care of with proper respect.
This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to stay calm give clear direction and handle situations as they come up. Managerial skills are a must.
Experience in healthcare is a big plus.
Responsibilities
Be the balebus on the floor making sure everything runs on time
Oversee patient flow so no one is waiting unnecessarily
Make sure rooms chairs and providers are ready and moving efficiently
Handle any questions issues or tzoros that come up with patients or staff
Work closely with the front desk on check-in check-out and paperwork
Guide staff with reminders direction and proper standards
Keep daily notes and updates for management so everyone stays on the same page
Qualifications & Must-Haves
Yiddish speaking preferred
Strong people-management skills able to give direction respectfully and clearly
Organized steady and able to juggle a busy environment
Comfortable speaking with patients and staff in a warm professional way
Experience in a clinic or medical setting is a big plus
Able to work some Sundays or longer hours when needed
