Hiring: L3 Support - Swift (Client Location) New Era Technology

About the Role:

New Era Technology is looking for experienced L3 Support - Swiftto be deployed at our prestigious client in Malaysia at their Kuala Lumpur office.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Application Maintenance and Production Support Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in supporting mission-critical applications in secure financial environments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SWIFT solutions (AMH/AMG/SAG) experience with Oracle 19c and proficiency working in Linux environments.
A basic understanding of Java Spring Boot and scripting is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide L3 application support for SWIFT systems ensuring high availability and minimal downtime
Perform incident and problem management including root cause analysis and permanent resolution
Monitor and maintain system health logs interfaces and message flows using SWIFT platforms (AMH AMG SAG)
Handle system patching upgrades and configuration changes in compliance with security policies
Collaborate with infrastructure development and business teams for seamless issue resolution
Document operational procedures and ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements
Support disaster recovery drills and implement corrective actions where necessary

Mandatory Skills:

Hands-on experience with SWIFT Solutions: AMH AMG and SAG Exposure to secure environments with an understanding of encryption 2FA/MFA and audit procedures
Familiarity with MTxxx message formats and ISO20022 standards
Experience working with RHEL or equivalent Linux distributions (e.g. SUSE Linux) Proficiency with Oracle Database 19c
Nice-to-Have Skills: Basic knowledge of Java Spring Boot
Experience with Shell scripting for automation and monitoring
Familiarity with JBoss (Application Server) Apache (Web Server) and Citrix environments

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related Engineering.
Min 3-5 years of experience is required.

Nationality: Malaysians preferred. Open for all nationalities who are willing to work onsite in Malaysia
Availability: Candidates who can join immediate to 30days notice.
